How to Include Your Kids in Creating your Holiday Cards

The holidays are a time for family, togetherness and unity! We all come together to celebrate our commitment to each-other, our love, our future and our spiritual growth. We give thanks for all our current blessings and wish one another continued blessings and successes in the upcoming year.

With a bit of planning, creating a personalized greeting card to let family and friends know you care can be a fun bonding experience with your little ones!

  • Pre-select 3-4 different Photo Invitations you like, and let your kids choose which one to use.
  • Pre-select 3-4 Photos for your Christmas cards then let your children chose which one to print.
  • Choose 3-4 Different color combinations you like and then let your children select their preference.
  • You can also get their help choosing font styles and arranging layout (depending on their age- use your discretion, this should be fun, not frustrating).

Once you receive your custom printed invitations have some special supplies set aside to get crafty with your kids… adding custom touches and “bling” to your cards.

Some fun ideas are:

  • Small matching colored Gemstones
  • Glitter in festive or matching colors
  • Holiday themed confetti, such as snowflakes, Christmas trees, Christmas light bulbs etc.
  • Holiday themed stickers
  • Holiday themed rubber stamps with matching ink colors

There are a ton of fun things you can do with the gemstones and confetti. If your holiday card has an image of a brightly lit Christmas tree, use the gemstones to glue on a few of the light bulbs for a 3-D wow effect! You can use the glitter and a tiny drop of glue for a similar look, or if your card shows a fireplace scene… use the glitter to outline a stocking hanging from the mantle.

You can glue the confetti to the card on the inside or out for a fun three dimensional look, or just include a few pieces loose in the card.

Be creative – Have fun!!
